Inspired by their special anniversary vacation, our clients gave us a clear directive to replicate the feeling they experienced while staying in a modern villa in Tuscany. We chose materials and colors to be grounding and calming, echoing the peaceful way of life. One explicit request was a four-poster bed, and we loved working with the drama that it brought to the space. The original space was not symmetrical, so we added a custom bench for seating and storage, creating a cozy spot for beginning or ending the day. The room is layered in rich textiles in neutral tones – quiet luxury at its finest. In the en suite, we used custom cabinetry, slabs of marble, tumbled limestone, and living metals to bring a sense of age and authenticity to the space.
