Julie is the Founder and Chief Creative Officer of Ampersand Living. As an interior design tastemaker, she delivers a personalized touch and leads projects through a lens of big picture partnership. Guiding team efforts along a refined take on a casual California style, her list of repeat and referral client speaks to the quality of the relationships that are built through Ampersand’s work.
A serial entrepreneur at heart, what started as a solo passion project, has grown into a successful interior design studio with a growing team of dedicated and talented designers serving happy and successful clientele across Southern California.
When she’s not working with her team she bears the glamorous title of mom to 2 wonderful children. She loves to spend her free time riding her horses, planning road trips to fabulous foodie destinations or laying poolside any chance she can get.
Alison Truax | Designer
Alison found herself thrown into the interior design world by way of a happy accident. Her background in fashion and eye for styling apparel effortlessly transformed into a knack for designing and styling interiors. Alison is a California coastal native with a passion for vintage and loves the challenge of blending modern elements with found pieces to create a unique and personal look for clients.
In her downtime Alison loves seeking out live music and a good flea market. Her two kitties often keep her company while gardening or working on her latest DIY project.
